Ogden Pharmacy in Calgary, Alberta, is now offering flu shots and/or COVID-19 clinics for businesses and organizations for the 2022-2023 season.

“We saw how severe the flu season in Australia looks like (especially in June), which is always a good indicator of what we could expect ours to be, and we know that the flu can be a burden on businesses and organizations,” says one of the pharmacists at Ogden Pharmacy. “That’s why we’re excited to offer our immunization and vaccine clinic services to help make things a little easier.”

Flu shots and/or COVID-19 clinics will be offered on-site at businesses and organizations, so employees can get their flu shot without having to take time off work. All clinics will be run by qualified personnel, and all vaccinations will be administered by a registered pharmacist.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for businesses and organizations to protect their employees from the flu and COVID-19,” says Adam, the pharmacist and the pharmacy manager. “We know that the flu and COVID-19 can be serious illnesses, so we want to do everything we can to help prevent it.”

“We even just held a very successful flu and COVID-19 immunization clinic for one of the locations of Calgary Food Bank here in Calgary,” continued Adam. “Many Calgarians were keen to get their flu, Pfizer, and the Bivalent Moderna vaccines, and some of them got both the flu and their COVID-19 shots per Alberta Health Services (AHS)’ guidelines!”
