Ogden Pharmacy in Calgary, AB, knows that everybody could use a hand in a difficult situation.
Ogden Pharmacy developed this initiative to:
- Help people who don’t have enough coverage, or
- Whose health insurance coverage will take some time to kick in, or
- A person with a temporary need for an over-the-counter (OTC) medication such as painkillers, allergy mitigation, vitamins and minerals, etc…
The healthcare system of Alberta and Canada, in general, is pretty strong and robust. However, some people may face some difficulties or may experience unusual incidents that need some help from you as a sponsor.
Ogden Pharmacy will collect the names and the information of people who might find difficulties obtaining an OTC such as Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen. Then we will call you once there is a suitable sponsor for the type of OTC you need.
We will do our due diligence to ensure that your support will go to those who need it. And would provide at the end of each year detailed statistics of the OTC medications that are sponsored by all donors in a way so as not to disclose any confidential information about you or the people who seek the OTC.
We will also ensure that the OTCs will not be resold through different methods, including stamping the OTC product with “NOT FOR RESALE.”
